I think Pittsburgh is willing to shop Bednar this season and are hoping to rebuild his value for the deadline. The A's are desperate for bullpen help and I have them paying 10X his current value. It's possible Bednar could be worth more by the end of July... then again, he might not. White might have hit his way to AA already if he hadn't banged up his knee but I don't think he sticks at 3B and the A's have long term options at 1B and DH. Johnston gives the Pirates an interesting LH arm to develop.
