13I'm not sure what the Rays would want for their AAA bullpen anchor.
Haha I don't see TB doing that cause Reifert has been on a mission this year and Milone is not so good, at AAA alone they have Morgan and Seymour, soon to be joined by Isaac and some guy named Will Simpson, lol like all good trades it has to hurt to feel good, personally I'd want one of the young OFers.
Brayan Buelvas (1.2 BTV) is yours. Junior Perez (0.6) is one of the best CF defenders in the minor league system, now that Clarke is in Sacramento. You aren't getting Bolte for Reifert.
I hope the Rays have zero interest in trading Reifert.
They've shown little interest in having him pitch for their big league club.
I’m not convinced that is true. Admittedly, I expected him to be protected this past offseason and he wasn’t, but young relievers are also hard to keep on a roster all year. In Reifert’s case, he was claimed and then returned, so the Rays were proved right. In any event, this is Reifert’s year for a promotion and I expect to see it happen sometime this month. I just don’t see how this team keeps Uceta much longer if it is serious about contending. Sulser could be replaced too if the Rays want a more K heavy option than Sulser provides.
Certainly possible. As I'm looking for arms that are readily available... guess I'll move on.
Sorry. I could be wrong of course.
Thanks for the insight. If Reifert is earmarked to help the Rays soon then he's not the type of pitcher that'll get moved easily or quickly.
Double the $$ they had to send back in his rule 5 return
I'd do that deal.
