Would the Phillies intend to play Rooker in LF? Because Schwarber at DH has been working real nice... Down vote for the A's. Seth Brown as a salary dump isn't that much in savings. Trading Rooker so soon after giving him an extension would look bad; then again, 1-20 looks worse. Marsh isn't necessary and acquiring him for two players with a lot more control doesn't make much sense. (Even for Forst.) Why trade for a short term asset when you're gutting your chances for short term success? I don't get the appeal of Aroon Escobar. I know he's a Top 100 guy for BA but I don't get why. In this scenario, Abel (10.1) and Crawford (14.7) make more sense than the non-A. Miller pieces being offered.
