1I don’t have to explain why the Cubs need a closer with stuff of Felix Bautista. Palencia has been very solid, and Hodge is coming off the IL by July, but a proven closer will be monumentally helpful. I also don’t envision Ballesteros as a catcher, so there’s definitely room for him in the Orioles roster. Assuming they trade Mountcastle, O’Hearn will return to 1B, opening up the DH spot for Ballesteros. Will Sanders is a young, underrated, SP in AAA with great control and a solid pitch mix. His stuff isn’t mind blowing, but he can turn into a 4-5 starter by 2026. Ronny Cruz is the lottery ticket spot here. He’s a 3rd rounder from the Cubs in 2024 and has been doing okay in the complex league at 18.
