3Cards trade a RH great contact bat from a glut of middle infielders & a closer for a good prospect, Abel & a project in Chace. Lets see what the new pitching lab can do with Chace.
Thanks for the endorsement. I will disagree slightly with the draft issue. There will be college arms with TOR potential @ 5. There is no Kurtz or Caglianone in this draft. There are, however lots of college bats available in Rds 3-8 that might add the depth we need for big bats moving forward. You are right, we definitely need better power depth in the system, but THIS year, we can gather that later in the draft. If Holliday falls to #5, all bets are off...GRAB him!!!! I thinks Willits is Wetherholt with a better defensive profile.
think this would be an ideal move for the cardinals. beef up the pitching depth, especially when i feel like they will go batter at 5th overall in july
