3The Cubs chose well when they got Palencia from the A's for Chacin, way back when. This is the most intriguing offer of the three deals you posted.
Thanks. I was just messing around with ideas to see what options were around. I feel like this is the move the Cubs are going to make. Mason Miller fits the profile of exactly what the Cubs look for in a right handed relief pitcher and the A's might be open to trading him with their needs. Hodge, Pomeranz, Miller would be a deadly combination for the bullpen.
Wiggins has a lot of upside and pitching in AA would put him firmly in the A's timeline for Las Vegas. Ballesteros has two issues... 1) He needs to continue to polish his defense. The A's ended up moving Soderstrom from the backstop because his glove was lagging. 2) The A's would have to be considering moving on from Langeliers. They aren't trading Miller for a back-up as a primary piece.
