1Down vote for the A's. Hurter strikes me as a JP Sears clone and is more evidence that Sears should transition to the bullpen. Hurter looks like a solid middle relief arm. Hamm doesn't appear to have the fastball the A's have been coveting lately, a guy like Melton fits their profile better. Montilla seems like a kid that has to stay at the 6 to carry his bat. Jung the 3B would be very interesting. The overall problem is this deal lacks ceiling. Jung could be a full time starter (if he can handle 3B) but Hurter, Hamm, and Montilla profile as high-floor types.
