1Rays have probably moved into the category of buyers, not sellers, at the deadline, but even if they were sellers, I don't think this trade would interest them. Usually when the Rays trade a top pitcher, the headliner in return is a pitching prospect - Glasnow (Pepiot), Springs (Boyle), Snell (Patino), Archer (Glasnow/Baz), etc. If the Rays moved Rasmussen to the Cubs, I have to think C.Horton would need to be part of the trade return. The other problem is Caissie being a major part of the return when the Rays are overflowing with outfielders right now. They just don't have room for another outfielder in AAA/MLB, meaning Caissie and Alcantara won't work for the Rays.
