The Reds and Rockies exchange troubled contracts. The imbalance between contracts and AFV is made up by sending several prospects to the Rocks. Power bat CES can play corner IF and OF, while Marte can play 3b and, in a pinch, SS. Two pitching prospects from the Reds's pipeline -- Aguiar had TJS but should come back strong next year, while Floyd is making his way through the system and should flash in the majors by 2027. Meanwhile, the Reds get a very solid bullpen piece and improve both defense and offense at 3b (McMahon could also play 1b, but Steer should stay there for now.)
