Matt McLain becomes the Rays CF, and could potentially be their SS in 2026. They swap Mead for Collier, similar players with different timelines. Mead has gone back to his former batting stance. The new one he showed up with was a horrible gimmick. He's hitting really well with his simplified swing, and is ready for a full time gig. The Reds can offer him 3rd, 1b, or 2b. They also get a badly needed outfielder, ready to set records with Elly for both stolen bases and excitement.

I’ve totally bought in to Mangum moving to CF, Misner being sent down and Morel (against RHP) and Cabby (against LHP) holding down LF for the rest of the year. Mangum is good!!! If the Rays are trading with Cincy, I’d want A.Hays to give us a little more thump against LHP.
