I understand the logic but you have to know... Cleveland is just going to sign Hedges again in the offseason. His return is inevitable. But if Cleveland really wants the A's to do them a favor and eat a couple million dollars for them, then an arm like Caden Favors would be far more enticing. Replace Antunez for Favors and Dylan DeLucia and this could work.
Cleveland signed Hedges as a captain for a reason... He's not gonna be traded as long as they are in contention...
