3I fear an injury or 2 to the Rays bullpen could be catastrophic. I really like the future for Mason Montgomey...if he figures out his command. He should be in AAA, because he has dominant stuff, but has been anything but dominant. Until he can command all his pitches, his fastball will get torched, because it's the only thing he throws for strikes. Fairbanks is not the dominant force he once was. Cleavinger has a HR problem. Bigge...who knows. Uceta, trash. Kelly, trash. Orze, fine in low leverage. The Rays have one high leverage RP, and no medium leverage. It's time to make a move. Morel sucks, but the Royals need an OF and a SP more than they need a helium reliever.
Works for me. Rays need bullpen help. Go get it…
Hard pass from a Royals perspective, especially considering Cruz still has 4 years of cheap control.... maybe would do this for Estevez ? and not entirely sure the Royals would identify Seymour as someone who could be valuable to the rotation ... when Ragans is back (rather that's this year or next), you'd have Ragans, Bubic, Cameron & Seymour all biding for rotation spots.... I highly doubt they build a rotation that consists of 4 LHP
