I could see the A's dealing Miller for Duno and Petty if they really, really liked Duno. Maybe the Reds could get away with Ashcraft +1 in place of Petty. But I can't see them trading Rooker in the same deal.

Rooker is getting a little up there in age and only gives DH value which is far from the value he would have if he were an OF. However he is on a decent contract which takes him into age 33 or so I think. Giving up on Marte and CES and Duno is a risk. I for one am sick and tired of the Reds not taking a risk. Don't know if the A's do this. Maybe they want another pitcher instead of Duno? Duno is ony 18 yrs old.
