💁🏼♀️ Crazy in division trade idea. 🤔
Most Rays fans will jump at this trade. I'm a little more skeptical because of Mayo, who I'm wondering might be a bust.

Why would TB bail Baltimore out of their bust players? Rutschman is having a down year plus will be a FA soon anyways, Kjersted and Mayo are starting to look like busts and are running out of time, not interested in Cano and Bright only has 1 plus pitch and has been getting lit up in the minors.
1 bust the Rays can’t fix for 5 bust the Rays can fix, plus enough cash to cover Adley Rutschman remaining salary in ‘25.
Except Bradley isn't really a bust, he's a #4 starter on arguably one of the best staffs in mlb, he just hasn't lived up to his expectations yet, Rutschman would be a great get but he only has 2 seasons of control left that will be very pricey and out of TB's range, Mayo has struggled to make the roster and TB already has Caminero and Aranda at the positions he plays plus TB has Mead who's in the same boat as Mayo, Kjersted is already 26 and can't stay on the mlb roster, Cano isn't bad just not a difference maker from what they already have and Bright just doesn't have much upside, TB and Baltimore don't really match up too well cause they're depth is kinda similiar, this would probably be better as a 3 team trade cause to me Basello ends up at 1B where TB already has a ton of, about the only other player would be Holiday but his value is way high and TB has Kim now and hopefully Williams eventually.
