πŸ€• Luis Perales Is Progressing in rehab from Tommy John surgery and is tentatively expected to return in late August. πŸ€• Yordanny Monegro was diagnosed last month with a torn UCL in his right elbow and will require Tommy John surgery. πŸ’πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ Payton Tolle is a very unique pitching prospect given his size and delivery, especially given that he only began to focus exclusively on pitching in his junior season. He has a massive extension to the plate that grades near the top of all pitchers in pro ball. It’s the type of arm that you want to bring into the player development system with some standout traits to build on. I think the Orioles pass. πŸ‘Ž

If we're going to avoid every pitcher with TJ in their past or near future no pitcher would ever get traded. lol. Something like 80% of major league pitchers get TJ at some point in their careers.

I can't imagine that the Orioles trade Bautista. That said, if they do so, I would put the odds of slightly more than 0 that they trade within the division. As the previous poster pointed out, 2 of the proposed players are or will be coming off Tommy John surgery. It would be a pass from me no matter which team offered up that package.
