7Comes up as a moderate overpay, which makes sense at this stage of the market.
I always find it so funny how almost every single mock trade gets downvoted and then most real trades get upvoted. Are gm’s really that impressive or is there a bias involved
Dbacks are probably hoping that their pitching lab can get to work on Izzi. Probably impressed with the 10.3 k/9 at high A, less so with an ERA in the 6s. Their pitching development hasn't necessarily been the greatest, not the least because they've been prioritizing hitters in the draft the past few years. Garcia can probably go in the bullpen right away and be serviceable, but he'll probably not be anything more than that at this stage.
Mostly fan bias
Here’s a particularly troubling case of fan bias with a frequent voter with over 2000 votes and only thumbs up a measly 5.7% of the time. https://www.baseballtradevalues.com/profile/grover
And here I thought we had a productive conversation regarding Ben Brown. I don't even give my own proposals an up vote 5.7% of time.
Yeah, no, that's not fan bias. Grover gives an explanation of every single vote -- that's just healthy skepticism.
