4Imagine the Nationals with an outfield of Anthony, Crews, and Wood, along with Abrams, House, etc. They'd have to spend on some FA pitchers to make up the loss of Gore in the rotation, but that young, good lineup should strike fear in the hearts of the NL East establishment. OTOH, the Sox get their solid #2. Yes, Anthony is a high price to pay, but for someone like Gore, that makes sense.
💁🏼♀️ Always keep the bat over the arm. Yes, Anthony is a high price to pay for someone like Gore, and it makes zero sense for the Red Sox. ⚾️ 👎
Always is a strong word. And why is it your opinion that the Red Sox don't need a starter of Gore's caliber?
When did I say that the Red Sox don’t need a starter of Gore's caliber?
