Reds have a new 3B. Green is an ace SP and is on a team friendly contract. Even if we needed a 3B I would not include Duno.
Rays aren’t trading JC. This is his first full year in the Majors, a season where he was only 21 years old for most of it. He has a 126 wRC+ playing every day without the benefit of platoons, along with 41 HRs and just a 19.7% K rate. That’s good for 4.0 fWAR on the season (to date), which is incredible considering his age and this being his rookie year. He’s a potential 10 WAR player and MVP candidate. Greene has developed into a good pitcher but come on…. Rays ain’t trading Cammy for him or anyone else. The question for the Rays is how much will it cost them to lock him up long term.
