For 1 year of Skubal, I just don’t see the Yankees trading a haul for him. It’s not like they are a SP away from being Championship contenders.

You're gonna be overpaying somewhere around 80 total value even for 1 year of Skubal. This wouldn't get it done.
I know Skubal has one year left, but Detroit had the best record in the AL before a late season collapse. I do not think they plan moving Skubal. Keep and try to re-sign.
