1okay here me out first, I originally was thinking Manny and Ethan to the Angels, Redon, Soler and Lugo to the Padres, but it wont let me do it only Tatis Jr. can offset Manny contract. but here is why this trade, Manny contract is what will held Padres down for here on, mean while Redon and Soler go FA at the end of 2026 season, with Padres lossing their Manager and with many prombles coming on the salary side, getting rid of their two biggest player to get away from high salary and a opportunity to rebuil. on the other hand, Angels need a 3B and a leader in the OF, so taking the contract of Tatis and Machado, will give the angels new vets on area they need experian and power
