As a Reds fan, I love this angle - trading SP for OF help. Trading from a strength to fix a weakness. I just can’t get behind Duran after last year. He had a killer year in 2024… regressed in 2025. He’s likely somewhere in the middle. Is that worth Greene, who is the ace of the staff but is never healthy for a full year? It’s probably closer than it feels to me, but this is a tough sell for me. I have experimented with trades of Lodolo and Greene for OF help as well. I like where your head is at. Cheers.

Any other Sox outfielders, not named Roman Anthony, you would be interested in over Duran? could probably get the Garcia and another prospect instead of Duran. Don't think they'll move Abreu though

I could see Brandon Clarke over Tolle. Clarke is also a BA Top 100 prospect but doesn’t require a 40 man roster spot just yet.

Duran for Green straight up is the only way I would do this. trade. Tolle has as much of a ceiling as Greene and more years of control. Given Greenes injury history the 1 for 1 is fair. If the Sox wanted to do this deal and the hard point was Reds wanted more then a lower level pitching prospect could be considered to add to Duran. Sox could also try for a RF P from Reds (Sandallin) if the package does expand.

Personally don't think Duran is anywhere close to as valuable as Green. I also don't think Tolle is anything more than a decent middle of the rotation arm.
