I’ve seen a couple Cubs fans proposing trades for JC. I can’t see the Rays trading JC at all, and certainly not for the offers being proposed. If Chicago really wants JC, this trade offer would be the starting point. Yeah, it would hurt the Cubs to part with this kind of talent, but that’s the price to land a guy who put up 4.6 fWAR his rookie year. Don’t get excited though, I really can’t see the Rays trading JC.

Even at that price I think Rays fans would riot, lol I still wouldn't do it cause the offense is bad enough I couldn't imagine taking out JC plus they don't have any future 3B coming anytime soon unless Taylor or Shaw figures things out.
