Ignore the cash, the marlins would take all or nearly all of Casty’s salary. It’s like a 1 year free agent signing for them. As a Phillies fan, I miss Tyler Phillips. But if a trade like this happened I imagine a rule-5 eligible player even the marlins don’t want would be the return.
