1I think the Rays can do better than this in the real world for Yandy, but I’d be thrilled if the Rays could acquire Santucci and Rodriguez from NYM. The Rays system is devoid of high end lefty pitchers, which Santucci would help correct. Rodriguez is said to be an excellent backstop, which is the most important thing for the Rays when evaluating catchers, but he has also raked in his brief minor league career. The Mets signed him as an Int’l free agent with a huge bonus, so they may not be willing to give him up, but he’s the guy I’d want if I were the Rays.
