2Lowe is average or below average across the board, he doesn't stand a chance getting to mlb and Pena might be a mlb reliever one day, this just doesn't make any sense for TB to do.
Agreed. This trade doesn’t make sense for the Rays. There’s no value coming back to the Rays, despite what BTV says. Any trade for Diaz has to include younger players with significant upside. After all, that’s basically Diaz’s profile in reverse. He’s playing at the same level as B.Harper and P.Alonso for 1/2 to 1/3 the salary and the risk is that his play falls off as he ages.
