Also included in this deal would be River Hamilton going to TB.

I don’t believe Briceno would ever be a catcher for the Rays and his bat doesn’t look good enough for 1B/DH (he hit a wall in AA with weak topline results and a high K rate). Even if the bat can play 1B/DH, Rays don’t really need another prospect for that position.
