1The D-Backs get a cheap SP with 3 years of control remaining. Troy is the headliner heading back to the Rays. Seems like the D-Backs don’t need Troy for 2B/SS, whereas the Rays could use him to replace B.Lowe (or at least put him in the mix with guys like B.Taylor). Rays need catching help (always), so a far off catcher with good defense and possibly a decent bat is part of the return. A pitching prospect with potential to start has to be part of the return if the Rays are trading a SP, so Eagan is added to the return as the final piece.
