Trade could be scaled back, (minus Hicks, cash and Svanson) but would want Arenado, Donovan and Crooks. (Grimson and/or other milb, depth P prospects could also be interchanged for listed Sox players. Sox could then sign Murakami 3b/1b as FA and all 4 inf positions are set with Mayer, Hamilton and Gonzalez, Crooks, adds C depth and a LH C option to offset Righty C's on roster. Trade proposal is opening the conversation with goal to make this move happen. Who knows Contreras may even end up replacing Donovan to make full trade happen, this also fits Sox 1B need and adds a RH power bat for Sox and clears even more $ for Cards.
