Sorry, I don't believe Yandy signs 2/26 if a FA. Last 4 years: 4 wins, 5 wins, 2 wins, 3 wins...This is a light return for the Rays, although I really like Groover, and wanted to see some opinions. Yandy's BB/K rate slightly different than 4 years ago, but 4-5% changes expected with the massive increase in power. Yandy is essentially Bryce Harper on a 2 year 26 MM deal, and it's asinine to me that he's only viewed as a "give me your 2 shittiest prospects" valuation. I see him closer to a $20M-$30M valuation. A team wants a top 20 wOBA bat making 13Mx2yrs, gonna cost a lot more than their 2 shittiest relievers, which is basically what a 4.7MM valuation is. Might as well give him negative value, and hope if he's DFA'd a team would be gracious enough to pick him up off the waver wire. Love this site, but this valuation...way off. 2025 xWOBA 17th in baseball, between Bryce Harper and Vlad Guerrero. What would those guys make on 2year deals? Give me Yandy @ $25MM trade value, or give me death.
