Down vote for the A's. I think they'll focus on a short term upgrade (like Singer) rather than pay the higher price for a controllable arm like Abbott. Personally, I wouldn't trade Soderstrom for Abbott straight up.

I did. When wisdom fails, hope is all that's left. I think Soderstrom for Abbott would be a bad trade for the A's. My hope would be for the least bad trade possible.
