1I keep seeing Pepiot for Ford trades, but what if the Rays don’t like Ford? He’s not known to be very good behind the plate and the Rays prize defense above all else with their catchers. Well, here’s a solution that still sees Pep and Yandy traded to the Mariners. Rays get a near ready 2B in Arroyo and two far off prospects in Bautista and Becker. This trade would fit better with the Rays next window too, which I think opens in 2028 after the lockout.
