1On the assumption that Seattle needs to shed payroll to keep their pending FA bats... The Mariners cover the $1 MM assignment bonus Castillo gets if traded and $2.75 annual of his salary for the next two seasons. They receive Bolte, who doesn't need to be added to the 40 man roster until after 2026, who becomes a potential Randy Arozarena replacement in 2027. They also take a flier on Waldichuk, who spent the 2nd half of '25 rebuilding his arm strength after TJS. He's Super-2 and has minor league options remaining.
