5A small trade. The RS get a backup right-handed light hitting first-baseman. More of a deep move.
💁🏼♀️ Breslow planning/guarding for the worst. Feels very much like an Abraham Toro addition from last year - in case of emergency break glass…. Let’s hope he’s not needed and if he is, let’s hope he can come close to what Toro did in his limited time. Personally, I don’t think he makes through April on the 40man. Rays did very well…Breslow sure loves to trade within the division. 🤦🏻♀️
LOL. Let’s not get carried away. Guerrero isn’t anything special either. Fair trade all around.
Tristan came up as a middle infielder, so there’s some versatility there. He’s not very good in the field though (particularly SS).
Casas+Toro+Romy Gonzalez are fielding disasters, so he would be improvement. All the first baseman free agents except Okamoto maybe are fielding disasters. The RS could use simply a decent fielder short-term place holder.
