💁🏼♀️ Technically, Boston has some time to try to trade Lowe but other teams presumably aren’t keen on him at that $13.5MM price point either. He will likely stay in DFA limbo until Friday and then be non-tendered, becoming a free agent. Breslow could try to bring him back on a smaller deal or he could include some cash and send him to a 1B needing team like the Padres for LH RP. Could still be a win win.
