3How eager are the Mets to move Senga? Because I think the A's would have significant interest if the prospect cost is low.
I have no inside knowledge, but I assume they'd be willing to move Senga to open up a rotation spot and some salary if they're trading for a top of the line starter (e.g., Peralta or Lopez). Senga is great when he's right but has been too unreliable. I just don't think they'd be interested in prospects. They want to be a world series contender now.
The A's have the payroll space to take on the full contract. Would a bullpen arm suffice? RHP Tyler Ferguson makes the minimum and has a minor league option remaining.
