What about Jett Williams, Sproat, and Senga for Soderstrom? No cash involved. It would be ~41 BTV to the A's. I'm not saying I'd jump at the deal but I'd think long and hard if the offer was on the table.
Yeah I would consider that, but I assume the Mets want to reserve at least one of Sproat and Jett to trade for a top arm. It's hard to see them getting Peralta without at least one of them and I don't know if they're willing to trade all their top prospects (my guess is McLean and Benge are near untouchable). This is going to be a busy offseason for the Mets.
