I get that, but having someone who is better than anyone in your rotation, a decent back end guy, and a first round pick from the 2025 draft is an amazing get from the Royals. Gamble is a guy that can be a Donovan or better in the future. In my opinion I am not sure what prospect would entice me as a fit for the Cardinals farm more than Gamble in a potential Royals trade.
