1Taillon is in there to maintain payroll for the Marlins (who are looking to avoid grievances) and to ensure the Cubs can continue to add after taking on a not insignificant salary from Alcantara. Kepley is a super high probability big leaguer while Tomas and Gray give the Marlins upside projects to work on. The Cubs add a win and a half or something and maintain flexibility to go after another mid-rotation piece.
