💁🏼♀️ Lourdes Gurriel Jr. is due $13m in ‘26 plus a $5m buyout of his ‘27 club option of $14m if the Marlins would like to pass on his services for the (most likely work stoppage) ‘27 season. - Marlins add two bats to their active roster and take on all remaining financial responsibilities for Lourdes Gurriel Jr. & Ketel Marte ($110m +/-) and remove any threat of a grievance being filled by the union. Diamondbacks get an SP & an RP for their active roster (each with two years of control) and move salary to $pend elsewhere (in house extensions?) either this offseason or next. (Skubal?). 🤔 💰 ⚾️
