St. Louis covers the $6 MM defferal Arenado is owed in 2040/2041. They also pay down $6 MM of his '26 salary and $5 MM in '27. The A's will be responsible for $10 MM each season. (If there are concerns about a 2027 Lockout, then the $11 MM in cash can be condensed into the 2026 season.) I'm honestly done with Hoglund because of the injuries and I need to make room on the 40 man roster.
