2The value on Castillo on this site is insane. This is a great deal for the Sox and transforms the Ms lineup.

Why is it insane? His production has been declining with age, so his current market value (if he were to sign a contract for 2 years for ages 33 and 34) would be a little over $42M, or roughly a $21M AAV. He's owed $45.5M, so his current contract is a little underwater.
