Comments
2Royals get their outfielder, replace the lefty they traded, and future outfield depth. Diamondbacks get pitching, a controllable infielder, and salary relief. The Red Sox get a big bat, a #2 for the rotation, and draft picks to offset a free agent signing with a qualifying offer.
Are there too many moving parts and pieces to this trade? Most definitely, but it’s fun to think about.
