1Cards flip just acquired high end prospect & Donny for SP depth and a power OF bat for the future. Evans will slot into the rotation in '26 while Sloan fills out a MUCH improved AAA rotation with Matthews, Roby or Morales, Hjerpe & Henderson while AA has Doyle, Franklin & Lin to headline. Having received a Comp Balance pick A gives the Cards some flexibility in the '26 Draft. There are a BUNCH of SSs in the Top 10 prospects so the Cards could go best available & take a flier w/ pick 32 (or whichever pick it ends up.)
