But Cleveland isn't motivated to trade Kwan, plus they actually need more hitting than pitching at the current moment. This deal actually puts them backwards in 26 and 27 since they were the best pitching group from September on hence why they made the playoffs... Cleveland will only trade Kwan IF they get what they need... Burrows in fine and so is Johnson, but Cleveland still wants an MLB ready bat in 26 as part of the package for Kwan who can hit from the right side and play CF... Cleveland would want the newly acquired Garcia as well... Also, Johnson possibly is blocked since Bazzana is at 2B and Genao is at SS... Johnson would have to be an OF in Cleveland... This deal just doesn't work...
Kwan "could easily have a higher OPS than Kwan as early as 2026". Does Cleveland seem like an organization in need of a questionable MIFer? You think they would give up the best leadoff hitter in baseball for LRP? You're a Pirates' fan and you want Kwan without giving anything of useful value to Cleveland for him. You forget which team is the playoff contender? So no, that isn't "enough logic" for me because there isn't a drop of it in your proposal. If you want Kwan you're either giving up a ML SP of equal or better value or a CFer of the same. Use that logic and you'll do better.
