Which players of a similar price would you consider? I seem to recall you wanting to trim the 40 man roster.
Tell me about P Cole Miller & P Richard Fernandez. Red Sox 40 man is full but they have a couple they could cut if they choose to make a pick in the rule 5. I can’t see why Hamilton wouldn’t be available, but then again, he could be the opening day 2B. Tommy White is the player I’d be most interested in, I’d like to place the RH at 1B permanently and just let him hit, see where he goes, maybe he’s a Dalbec clone, maybe more. I don’t think he sticks at 3B, A’s shouldn’t need a 1B for a while, Red Sox could use the depth & competition.
Cole Miller is off limits. Richard Fernandez hurt his shoulder in '24, he made it back to A-ball but I haven't heard anything about his '25 stuff.
