I don’t disagree. I imagine Early or Tolle as the focal point wouldn’t be enough to entice Arizona. I also think Early and Tolle won’t be both be traded. It’s hard telling how exactly Boston will try to procure big bats. I just don’t see their ownership truly going hard after any of the free agents hitters. Marte from Arizona, Olson from Atlanta (though I’d be quite surprised if the Braves actually entertained trading him), or Eldridge from the Giants seem more like pursuits that align with how they count their pennies now.
