1Could make sense for the Dbacks if they are trying to cut some of their long term commitments like Marte's and load up for the future. Essentially swap him for Jazz for his last year of arb ($10m or so) and also get top prospect Lombard to pair with Lawler and Perdomo in the future infield. Even more they get Gil who has great stuff and years of control left. Yankees get to balance their offense by subtracting a lefty and adding a switch hitter helping the middle of their order. Tough to lose Lombard, Jazz and Gil but for a player like Marte it could be worth it especially with their SP depth.
