1Saw on MLBTR Cubs were hearing offers on Hoerner. IMO this trade could make a lot of sense. Cubs get more power at 2B and a lefty platoon partner/great defending catcher in Escarra, Yankees get more right handed and a table setter for their lineup as well as the righty platoon partner behind the dish. Hoerner and Kelly also only have a year left on their deals so it would relieve some salary for the Cubs to make more moves.
