I don't think I rate Abbott as highly as you do, maybe if I watched him regularly I'd appreciate him more, but to your larger point... if you don't want the Reds to trade him (for Kurtz) then OK. I just wanted to create an opportunity for those that have posted Kurtz to the Reds trades recently to comment on an A's-centric version. And probably say Nope to my idea!

Well if that is the case then it was my mistake but to me obviously it sounded condescending. I also applaud you trying. I would find it fun if somehow it could be posted on here when someone when one of us actually gets a trade actually right in the real world.
I don't rate Kurtz as highly as this site seemingly does or you do. Pretty sure I listed my reasons why. You said the only way you would trade Kurtz was an overpay for him. I thought he was not worth an overpay. I think that was pretty much the point I was trying to make.
No I NEVER said I did not want to trade Abbott for Kurtz. I just did not want to overpay for Kurtz and you said that is the only way you or the A's would entertain trading him. You have Abbott, Sal Stuart and Cam Collier for him. That's an overpay. I just mentioned SP is at a premium. I am glad you are trying things. That's the whole purpose for us to be on here.
