Rooker is not expendable, his RH bat provides valuable balance to a lefty leaning line-up. The A's are also trying to get Soderstrom, Kurtz, Wilson signed to extensions and it will be a harder sell if they trade away someone they signed to an extension a year ago. They do want to add pitching (and I'm a fan of Pallante) but they've been telling teams they aren't interested in breaking up their line-up. Down vote for the A's.
